Boarding school packing list
Please review the Packing List in full and make sure students bring everything listed.
Given the busy schedule and potential challenges in finding specific items in India, it is best to come well prepared. While we do organize regular visits to the mall and Amazon.in is accessible, availability may vary. Bringing all essentials can help make a smoother transition and allow students to focus on studies and experiences without unnecessary disruptions.

Check out the Welcome Package 2025-2026, which has everything you need to know about life on campus!

Hear from MPA students who put together a video to welcome you to school, including some tips they wish they would have known before coming to MPA. They can’t wait to meet you!
Important Dates 2025-2026
Students are expected to remain on campus for the entirety of each semester to minimize disruptions to their learning experience. However, Miri Piri Academy observes its annual Winter Break at the close of December, which allows for boarding students to return to their homelands for a rejuvenating period before the new semester starts in early January. This intentional break serves to recharge and reconnect with their families. We recommend booking your child’s plane ticket home early, to get the best price.

Karta Purkh, USA
SDEI Board Member
I joined the Board because I wanted to serve the people/students who have made or are making the long hot slog that adolescents can sometimes be. The children deserve our most sincere support. This is one way.
MPA served my daughter and our family in the most precise way. It gave her a solid background educationally and socially. There were and continue to be some bumps along the way but that is what a child's education is for; to weather those bumps without losing the view of where we are and where we want to go.
MPA is most important for our children as a destination and a process. I also hope that MPA will find ways to involve and inspire those youths who have completed their MPA education and wish to return some of the energy they have gained from their years in India.

Mata Mandir Singh, USA
