World Maths Day

World Maths Day in an online international mathematics competition that began on March 14, 2007 and has been celebrated internationally ever since.

This year the math department organized a fun day of math games to coincide with this occasion. From Milk Break to the end of the day students participated in games organized and facilitated by the maths department.  The day started with an introduction to the day from maths teacher Nidhi. Grade 7 student Adesh Kaur then spoke about Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. After that the games began! There were maths games throughout the day including races, games and scavenger hunts.
