Selfless service is known as ‘Seva.’ A God who is present and permeates all of creation is how the Sikhs view God.
As a result, Sikhs make an effort to remain aware of God’s presence in all living things and all circumstances. Seva is the inevitable result of such consciousness.
We are motivated to serve everyone when we recognize God in all things. Humility and service to others are characteristics that define a Sikh. The school takes part in Seva at other nearby gurdwaras, cleans the Parkarma at the Golden Temple, and does Seva on campus to impart this mindfulness in our kids.
