The practice of Kundalini Yoga is aimed at union with the divine through the stimulation of the Kundalini energy that resides in everyone. It is a dynamic, powerful tool for expanding awareness.
Not all students at MPA define themselves as ‘Sikh,’ although the school program is modelled after the lifestyle taught by the Sikh Gurus and is based on four pillars of Dharma: Bana, Bani, Simran and Seva, a healthy vegetarian diet, avoidance of drugs & alcohol, and nurturing relationships with others.
Gatka is a Sikh Martial Art that helps train the body & mind to work together & instil qualities such as bravery, courage, spirit, & self-discipline.
At MPA, every student has the choice to study Gurbani Kirtan or Tabla if they desire. Students actively participate in leading the school during devotional Gurdwara services at the school, numerous Gurdwaras and events to which we are invited throughout the year.
Our Gurdwara is a beautiful, meditative environment for the many activities that take place there throughout the day.
