Woman’s Humanology Course

Every year we split the guys and the girls up for three days to participate in what we call the Humanlogy Course. Teachers from different parts of the world come to share their unique knowledge of Kundalini Yoga and their own life experience. Over these three days the students participate in sadhna, yoga classes, P.T, martial arts, and much more. Guru Tej Singh and Shanti Kaur, are great role models for the students and knew how to push the students to uncover their inner strength.  The teachers of this course are great role models for the students and knew how to push the students to uncover their inner strength.

Shanti teaches the girls what it means to be women of grace and strength with the help of our women staff members. Despite the freezing temperatures of Anandpur Sahib the women at the women’s course had a great time and learned a lot. I heard a story from one of the courses teachers, Siri Krishna, that summed up the energy and connectedness the female half of our school gained.

“After a yoga class the yoga studio needed to be cleaned badly. Instead of just a few helping out, the entire group got to work and within minutes the room was perfectly clean. They didn’t need instructions, they just did it. They were connected as a group and knew what needed to be done without anyone having to say a thing. This showed what they were gaining from this course and how great it is that the women had the chance to bond with each other.”
