Spring Break in Dharamsala

It’s been years since MPA went to the exiled home of The Dalai Lama. So far everyone is really enjoying the trip. The food is amazing. Dharamsala is full of delicious restaurants of all kinds. For breakfast you can have a delicious French croissant at one place then Japanese sushi for lunch, topped off by authentic Italian pasta for dinner.

The Tibetan culture in Dharamsala is a way different experience for the students then any other place in India we’ve visited on break. Our hotels are right outside the Dalai Lama’s residence and the main Buddhist temple.

Yesterday we went on a hike up into the surrounding mountains. The hike was a great way for the students to get out of the restaurants and get some exercise.

From what I can see everyone likes it here and hopefully we can return in the future.
