Honoring our Founder, the Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan

This morning at 5:45 we gathered together to bow at the Guru’s feet, make our prayer, Ardas, read the initial Hukam and recite Japji Sahib to begin an Akhand Path. An Akhand Path is a practice of reciting the entire Siri Guru Grand Sahib  from beginning to end, a beautiful way to honor the legacy of the Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan and to commemorate the 10th year Anniversary of his passing. We feel so fortunate to join our global community in this sacred endeavor. The students run the whole seva, signing up for one hour turns to both read and serve as the Sevadar to make sure that everything runs smoothly. They are excited and grateful to have the chance to participate in this deep meditation together.  We will continue reading until Monday morning, when we will have a Bhog Ceremony to conclude the Akhand Path.  We will also be serving a special langar on Sunday and join the worldwide sangat to commemorate the exact time of his passing by participating in the global meditation.  Waheguru!
