Putting the Fun in Exercise

5-1Now that it is almost winter and the temperature has dropped, the schedule at Miri Piri Academy has been adjusted so that the students start their day with reciting Japji Sahib at 5:30 am followed by a session of Kundalini Yoga. Physical Training is now at 3:30 pm. It is really amazing to have the entire school join together for PT.  They are creating a healthy habit in their lives, learning how to support each other in group consciousness and defeating laziness and boredom. They not only do push ups and similar traditional kinds of workouts, the staff members also guide them in more dynamic games and exercises to that they can have fun and learn to support each other.
