Message from MPA

Our Year Ahead

Sat Nam,

In September, Kirandeep Kaur, Prem Kaur and I had the opportunity to travel to Doncaster, UK to visit a very unique school called XP. It was the culmination of many months of research to find a school that provides an engaging academic program while also focusing on character development. XP is a Cambridge accredited school that uses an expeditionary learning model to deliver curriculum that is grounded in the local community. We were incredibly inspired from our week-long visit and will share more with you soon about how we plan to integrate XP principles at MPA.

Back on campus, we’re getting ready to welcome everyone for three in-person courses. You’re invited to the Winter Gathering in December, followed by an Alumni program over winter break and a Women’s Camp in February. For those of you who are regulars to India, this is an opportunity to experience Amritsar or Anandpur Sahib with a group of your fellow siblings of destiny. For those who are new to India, we will provide a lot of support to make the journey as comfortable as possible. We have a beautiful, secure campus, good food, clean water and medical support on hand to support you in having an uplifting experience focused on devotional practices and sangat.

Blessings to all during this season of celebration in honour of Guru Ram Das ji,

Japjeet Kaur Khalsa, Head of School

We want to hear from you:
Would you prefer to attend a new course in-person at MPA, visit one of the many sacred sites in India, or attend online where you can join from anywhere in the world?
What course topics interest you most? (For example: Kundalini yoga, Sikh history, Humanology, Kirtan, Gurmukhi, Cooking classes?)
By participating in our survey, you’re helping to shape the future of MPA.

Meet HarSimran, MPA Alumni

The new face behind MPA’s social media is also an MPA graduate! As a kundalini yoga teacher on the path to become a Sat Nam Rasayan healer, she is also soon heading to business school.

“Attending MPA helped me build a strong discipline and the power to overcome obstacles.”

“I would suggest anyone attending Miri Piri Academy for all of the crazy, cool adventures that students get to take part in all the time! I was able to build my own voice at this school, and learned so much about myself, living with other people, and India. Many people don’t get to do this much self-growth and learning throughout their whole lifetime!”

Follow MPA on social media to stay in-touch with HarSimran and the adventures of MPA!

In memory of Jai Singh

With a heavy heart we want to share the news of the passing of our dear brother and friend, Singh Sahib Jai Singh Khalsa.

Jai Singh fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer over the past three years. Among much other philanthropic work throughout his life, he helped design and fund the construction of Siri Singh Sahib’s home at Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar. A Sahaj Path was held in his honor, which concluded on Aug 31st.
