Rajwant Kaur Louisa Dorner, Intermediate Girls Mukhia Jethadar

Last year I came here from Germany to serve as the Junior Mukhia Jethadar at MPA, and this year I am serving as the Intermediate Girls Mukhia Jethadar.  As caretaker for your teenage daughters, I am here to provide loving care, a listening ear, and an open heart to all the needs that they may have.  Knowing that I can't travel the way of transition for your daughters, I dedicate the next nine months of my life and time to travelling with your daughters.  To this journey I bring my full experiences as a certified Level 1 Kundalini Yoga teacher, years of coaching alpine skiiers, and the knowledge that I have gained through my education.  I have a Bachelor of Political Science, and I have studied Music and Human Medicine.  At present I am studying at Coach University New York to become a certified Personal Coach.

Hari Arti Singh, Intermediate Boys Mukhia Jethadar

I’m glad to be part of the MPA family once again, serving as the Intermediate Boys Mukhia Jethadar. Last year I worked as a Sevadar for MPA and got to see the school from different angles. Over the summer I worked for the MPA Admissions Office, which helped me to complete the picture. This year my full attention is towards the Intermediate Program. I’m also supporting the sports program as soccer coach, teaching Siri Singh Sahib Studies to the 6th and 7th graders, and coordinating the Sisters and Brothers program to support our new and youngest students.

Originally I’m from Germany where I started my University career to become a M.Sc. in Geoecology and I completed the program in Sweden. During my social service requirement, (11 months) I worked with kids between the ages of 6-14. Right after my social service, I went on to University and I did my Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Level I. I’m currently doing Level II. It is a great honor to work with the students at MPA, to share experiences with them, and to support them in their growth.

Mahan Atma Kaur, Senior Girls Mukhia Jethadar

I am honored to contribute my experience, talents, and Light as the Senior Girls Mukhia Jathedar to the MPA family.  A native of St.-Petersburg, Russia, I have been living in the U.S. for 9 years and I became an American Citizen in 2007. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from St.-Petersburg State University in Russia, where I worked in schools and hospitals counseling adults and children for 5 years.  Interested in corporate business structure, I moved to the U.S. and established myself as an young professional, specializing in Corporate
Business Development.

I met many wonderful and inspiring people on my adventurous journey, especially when I was becoming more involved in Sikh Dharma.  I fell in love with Yogi Bhajan's extended vision of the future; his ability to establish, nurture and grow many healthy, happy and holy branches on the Big Tree of Life. Most inspiring I found the children in Sikh Dharma, whose beautiful eyes are filled with clear understanding, tremendous strength and wonderful peace. I am looking forward to sharing my professional experience and knowledge with the senior girls, as they take the first steps in approaching their adult life.

Wahe Guru Ji KaKhalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh!

My name is Mahan Atma Singh Khalsa. I am from Northern California, and this is my third year working as a Mukhia Jethadar. Previously I was the Intermediate Boys Mukhia Jethadar, and I am now in charge of the Senior boys. I look after their day- to- day care: rooms, uniforms, cleanliness, and support in academics. I am really looking forward to this year here at MPA. I feel that there are already so many positive changes happening and I feel very blessed to be part of the MPA staff.
