Miri Piri Academy offers a curriculum and testing program that meets the highest
academic standards for high school programs worldwide. Teaching at Miri Piri
Academy is student-centered, project-based, and incorporates the multiple intelligences
concept.
The focus is on nurturing creativity; observation,
inquiry and critical reflection; building confidence and self-esteem; shaping
character and inculcating abiding values of tolerance and compassion; appreciation
of diversity and internationalism. These attributes are vital for each student’s
success and global progress.
Accreditation
Miri Piri Academy is accredited by the Punjab State Education Board. Students
with a diploma from Miri Piri Academy are eligible for admission to colleges
and universities in India and the US. In addition, all graduates of Miri Piri
Academy are IKYTA certified Kundalini Yoga teachers. We are in the process of accreditation with the University of Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels, and with the International Baccalaureate Organization.
Academic Curriculum
The curriculum, up to Grade 10, is based on the requirements of the Punjab School
Education Board, with a few changes of content to suit the needs of our students.
All students are taught Punjabi as a Second Language through a specially designed
program. The curriculum for Grades 11 and 12 is designed to meet the U.S. equivalency
at High School level.

Miri Piri Academy is a candidate school* for the International Baccalaureate
Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

Language of Instruction
The language of instruction is English for all disciplines except Punjabi, which
